We recently had our pictures taken as family. We've had our photos taken before elsewhere and the difference in the service was amazing. From the first phone call to book our slot to collecting our photos, Susan was a joy and my boys loved her. She has the patience of a Saint and although we thought we'd captured none of our littlest we were pleasantly surprised and absolutely love our photos. So happy to have one of the 4 of us that just captures our personalities. Thank you so much Susan, you're so lovely and an amazing photographer.

Family Photography

Before your family photo shoot

Before, your session, I will discuss with you, what type of images you had in mind, to ensure that all your expectations will be met, and that your family can have a fantastic experience together, with the end result being a wonderful family memory to hang on your wall, and pass down the generations. Have a look through some of the family pictures on the website, to get an idea of what I offer, and get some inspiration for the type of style that you like.

In the photography studio

I, have a fully functional professional photography studio, in Kirkintilloch near Glasgow, kitted out with high quality equipment perfect for capturing beautiful portrait pictures of your family. My studio contains a comfy little sofa for our guests to sit on, while different members of the family are photographed. A W.C is also available.

Props used in family photography session

I have a number of different backgrounds, to choose from, but the majority choose white, and the best clothes to wear with this are bright and colourful, as these really stand out and make the picture pop. However, the most important thing is to wear something, which you are comfortable in. As a photographer who is experienced with families, I'm very understanding, and patient with children. I will take the time to make them relaxed, and ready for the photo shoot. Whether it’s just the kids, parents, or the whole brood I will be pleased to take images of different combinations for you.

After the Family Photo Shoot

After the photo shoot I'll arrange a convenient time for you to come into the studio, and view your images, choose your favorites and pick an affordable package that suits you.

I'll go through all of the images and narrow them down to about 25-30 pictures, and lightly edit them just to get them perfect. This generally takes about a week or two.
Then, depending on which family photography package you’ve chosen it usually takes a 2 to 4 weeks, to get the products back from the printer. Once they arrive, I’ll waste no time in contacting you, as I know how much you will be looking forward to seeing your lovely family pictures.
